Contemporary Chinese Village Gazetteer Data (数字村庄 / Digital Village) is an open dataset developed by the University of Pittsburgh that extracts and presents structured data from selected Chinese village gazetteers. These village gazetteers record detailed statistical and descriptive information about individual villages from 1949 to the present, documenting the history and development of Chinese rural communities over seven decades.
