Description
The Chinese Engineers Relational Database (CERD), developed by Pelzer et al. (2021–2023) and hosted by the Digital Humanities Initiative at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, is a relational database of engineers from the Chinese Republican period (1912–1949). The current public dataset includes 17,618 engineers with linked records for 663 colleges, 17,461 degrees, 9,245 workplaces, and 25,475 occupations.
