Description
The Qing Dynasty Official Positions Database (清代職官資料庫), developed by the Institute of History and Philology (Academia Sinica) beginning in 2007, documents the official structure of Qing central and local government. Based on the five-dynasty Huidian, the Qing History Draft, and primary archival sources including Grand Secretariat archives and palace memorials, the database covers institutional history, official ranks and responsibilities, administrative jurisdictions, and annual rosters of officeholders. Users can link directly to the biographical database and historical place name system within the IHP system.
