Description
The Ladies' Journal Database provides full-text access to the complete 17-volume run of Ladies' Journal (婦女雜誌), a comprehensive women's magazine published by the Shanghai Commercial Press from January 1915 to December 1931. One of the most widely circulated women's periodicals in modern China, the journal spanned the May Fourth era and the Nationalist Revolutionary period, and is a key source for both women's history and modern Chinese social and cultural history.
