Description
The Research Platform for Women's Biographies (近代婦女傳記資料庫), hosted by the Institute of Modern History (Academia Sinica), compiles biographical records of women from the modern period with the aim of addressing the male-dominated bias in existing biographical databases. Each entry includes personal attributes (native place, birth and death dates, educational background) and tagged social relationships linking individuals to organizations and events, enabling social network analysis of women's communities in modern China.
