Description
The Hu Shih Archive Retrieval System (胡適檔案檢索系統), hosted by the Hu Shih Memorial Hall at the Institute of Modern History (Academia Sinica), provides searchable catalog access to the archive of Hu Shih (1891–1962), comprising letters, diaries, manuscripts, and other public and private documents. The system contains approximately 51,989 catalog entries, including a Beijing Archive series of pre-1949 documents donated by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 2009. Full image retrieval of the Beijing Archive is restricted to on-site access at the Institute of Modern History.
