Description
The Integrated Information System on Modern and Contemporary Characters (IISMCC / 近現代人物資訊整合系統), hosted by the Institute of Modern History (Academia Sinica), aggregates biographical information from multiple source types — biographical registers, official position records, archival finding aids, and oral history indices — covering individuals from the mid-Qing dynasty through the Republic of China era. The database currently includes over 135,000 individuals and links outward to related MHDB systems including the Modern Annals Timelines Information System.
