Description
The National Central Library Rare Books and Special Collections database (國家圖書館古籍與特藏文獻資源), hosted by the National Central Library (Taiwan), provides online access to digitized holdings spanning Song through Qing dynasty rare books, stone and bronze rubbings, Dunhuang scrolls, ancient legal contracts, and genealogies. The collection includes approximately 12,900 rare book titles (over 130,000 volumes), with particular depth in Ming printed editions, and as of 2022 comprises over 844,000 catalog records and 7.4 million digitized images. The library has an international cooperative digitization program with over 90 partner institutions including the Library of Congress, UC Berkeley, Bibliothèque nationale de France, and Oxford University.
