The Modern Transformation of Talented Women's Culture database (才女文化的現代轉型), a collaborative project between the Institute of Modern History (Academia Sinica) and McGill University, provides biographical records for over 800 talented women (cainü) from the late Qianlong period through the Republican era. Each entry documents personal attributes and tagged social relationships — family, literary, and social networks — drawing on classical compilations of women's writings. Relational data is available for download to support social network analysis.
