Description
The Databases of Chinese Maritime Customs (近代中國海關資料平台), hosted by the Institute of Modern History (Academia Sinica), provides access to digitized publications of the Chinese Imperial Maritime Customs Service organized into thematic sub-databases: Returns of Trade and Trade Reports, Decennial Reports, Service List (staff rosters), Medical Reports, Navigational Aids, Collected Maps and Tables, and a customs bibliography. The platform covers trade statistics, port administration, medicine, navigation, and ecology, and integrates with the MHGIS platform for spatial analysis.
